is having an Open House Dig on Saturday May 6,
2006 from 7 A.M. to Noon. Digging will commence at 7:00 A.M. Late arrivals
will still be allowed in. The Quarry will expect everyone to leave at Noon.
Hard hats and safety glasses are mandatory.
The Quarry is located on Whalen Drive in Penfield ,
New York south of the Browncroft/Atlantic Avenue (Route 286) intersection.
Take 390 to 590 North to Browncroft Rd. exit. Right (east) on Browncroft
which will turn into Atlantic, then right onto Whalen. The Quarry entrance
is on the left, just past the golf course on the right.
Expect to find
minerals. Children with
parents are OK - must have hard hat or bicycle helmet and strong shoes and
safety glasses.
