Walworth Quarry, Walworth, NY. 

Excellent time for digging and collecting and everyone can have a GREAT TIME!!

1200 Atlantic Ave., Walworth, NY (east of Rochester, NY)

Hard hats, steel toed shoes, eye protection are required. Gas saws and drills are allowed. Supervised children are permitted. Must sign in at garage.

Suggested time of arrival is 6:30AM as they have been known to let us in earlier than 7:00 AM.

Late arrivals are tolerated - Must sign in at garage.

New York State Thruway (Rte. 90) to Route 390 N to 590 N

·                     Exit onto and follow Browncroft Road (286) East (it becomes Atlantic)

·                     Pass Route 250.  Will see large blue water tower on Right at top of hill

·                     Turn Left at the water tower:  Quarry driveway is on the Right.

Expect to find minerals: Fluorite, calcite, dolomite, selenite, sphalerite, celestite
